As a skilled technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' lifting equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes.

About the Role

This position involves performing a range of tasks, including:

  • Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance work to prevent equipment failure
  • Repairing and troubleshooting issues with overhead cranes
  • Installing new equipment and upgrading existing systems
  • Providing expert advice to customers on lifting equipment solutions

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision. You will also be required to travel to customer sites to provide technical support.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical trade and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in electrical trade
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Current driver's license
  • Willingness to work a FIFO 8/6 roster and travel for extended periods
