Mobile Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mobile equipment fleet.

Job Summary:

As a Mobile Equipment Repair Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct routine maintenance and repairs on our mobile equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other specialized vehicles. You will work closely with our operations team to identify and address any issues that may impact equipment availability or safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on mobile equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards;
  • Perform repairs and replacements as needed to maintain optimal equipment performance;
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment usage and criticality;
  • Document all maintenance activities and repair work in accordance with company procedures;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical repair, with experience working on heavy-duty equipment preferred;
  • A solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to mobile equipment operation and maintenance;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to create accurate documentation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a workshop or repair environment;
  • Knowledge of forklift operation and certification;
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more as required by the job.
