About the Role

We seek a qualified crane technician to join our cranes and lifting team in Perth, Australia. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning pedestal and gantry cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and corrective crane maintenance activities.
  • Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting of crane systems.
  • Prepare detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports.
  • Survey and scope crane maintenance activities to identify labor, materials, and equipment required for execution.
  • Replace crane components, such as hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches, load monitoring systems, etc.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience as a crane technician.
  • 2 years' experience in the oil and gas industry (desired).
  • Recognized mechanical trade certificate.
  • OPITO BOSIET (desired).
  • MSIC (desired).
  • Basic rigger HRWL (desired).
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, gearboxes, and winches.
