Senior Finance Manager

This is a leadership role that requires expertise in financial management and team leadership.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience in financial management. CA or CPA accreditation is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate numbers into operational insight.

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the development and refinement of financial systems, processes, and procedures. They will manage end-to-end operations of the finance team, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, allowances, and reconciliation.

They will ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance across a diverse range of funded program activities. The Senior Finance Manager will also prepare accurate, insightful monthly reports and financial analyses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the financial management information system.
  • Leading the annual budgeting process and tracking program-level expenditure.
  • Overseeing end-of-year audits and financial preparation for the AGM.
  • Guiding the rollout of a new integrated finance and HR system.
