Director of Engagement and Strategic Growth

The Molly Wardaguga Institute for First Nations Birth Rights works towards a vision of returning control of First Nations birthing services to First Nations communities.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the overall business functions, including strategic planning, governance, financial management, human resources, recruitment, marketing, communication, and research administration.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A postgraduate qualification in business management or other relevant discipline with experience, or extensive experience and management knowledge with a combination of relevant experience and training.
  • Outstanding leadership and management skills, and a demonstrated ability to build effective teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and management, as well as providing specialist business development and analysis support to staff.
  • Proven ability to use initiative and assume responsibility for tasks and projects, highly developed skills in assessing market opportunities and developing networks and strategic alliances.
  • Critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
