Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated aviation professional to contribute to providing world-class frontline services in community safety.

The successful candidate will use their strong leadership skills to manage and guide a team of line pilots at Cairns, Mt Isa, and Horn Island bases, operating our modern fleet of brand-new Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprops and Caravan aircraft.

  • Contribute to safe and efficient operation of the fleet

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
  • Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 renewals
  • Minimum 3000 hours total time
  • Minimum 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Minimum 400 hours Night PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Turbine PIC
  • Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
  • Hold a current Australian passport

Highly Desirable Requirements

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
  • Flight Examiner Rating (FER)
  • Flight Instructor Rating - Multi Engine
  • B360 Type Rating
  • C208 (or similar) Experience
