Payroll Compliance Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and regulations.
This involves interpreting Awards and applying data under review, as well as supporting the payroll manager during processing to ensure accuracy.
You will also be involved in end-of-financial-year processes and overseeing system configurations.
Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, while your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Interpretation of Awards and application of data under review
- Support the Payroll Manager during payroll processing to ensure accuracy
- Assist with end of financial year processes
- Oversee system configurations
- Liaising with employees around remediation activities
- Processing remediation payments
- A strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll discrepancies.
