OverviewWe are offering a full-time permanent Sales Support & Livestock Administration role to join our Wagga Wagga branch to support our Livestock Sales team.Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include handling livestock sales and related administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesProcessing Livestock sales; predominantly Saleyard Sales twice weekly, private sales, other agent sales and clearing sales.Attending sale days at the saleyards and on farm at Stud Sales when required.Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions.Perform branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution and general office duties.Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection.Work a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).
What we'll love about youPrevious experience in a team support role in a busy environment with a passion for Australian farming and agriculture.A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.Excellent attention to detail.Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.Knowledge or experience with cattle and/or sheep livestock is advantageous but not essential.Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes.Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to learn new systems quickly.Able to work efficiently and unassisted.Why work for us?
