Position Overview

As part of the community programs team, you will collaborate on the implementation of playgroups and additional resources for families. Your role will involve establishing strong relationships with children and their families, creating an inviting atmosphere. You will adopt a flexible approach to support families at various stages of their parenting journey while offering guidance on early childhood development.

Key Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
  • Exceptional communication skills with families
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Capability to model effective early childhood practices
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Commitment to an inclusive curriculum
  • Adherence to WH&S and other relevant policies
  • Understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector
  • Experience in facilitating playgroups (desirable)
  • Valid paid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Certificate in identifying and responding to children at risk (desirable)
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Valid driver's license
