Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our growth initiatives within the Australian market.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client's business within the chemical wholesale industry, leveraging their expertise and network to identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Lead Generation: Drive lead generation efforts through ANZ market research, referrals, tradeshows, and other strategic activities.
  • Industry Representation: Actively participate in industry events and conferences both domestically and internationally to represent our brand and build a robust professional network.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Sales Support: Prepare and deliver engaging pre-sales presentations and high-level product demonstrations.
  • Negotiation and Sales: Oversee the negotiation process, including scope, delivery, and commercial terms.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Reporting and Strategy: Produce formal monthly reports outlining key activities, pipeline, and performance metrics. Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategy plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in selling or procuring chemical products, preferably within the animal feed industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Negotiation and Relationship Building: Strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Professional Environment: Experience in professional environments with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High level of interpersonal skills with excellent time management capabilities.
