Team Lead – Housing/Shelter

This position requires a skilled leader to oversee shelter operations, ensuring the well-being of staff and residents.
Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily tasks and maintain accurate records
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents
- Provide guidance and support to staff and manage incidents effectively
- Develop and implement wellness plans and perform regular checks
- Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to enhance resident support
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Knowledge of social issues related to homelessness, mental illness, and addiction
- Training in non-violent crisis intervention techniques and harm reduction approach
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, collaboration skills
- Effective personal boundary setting skills and ability to navigate stairs
