Personal Care Attendant Job Description

This position presents a rewarding opportunity to provide personalized support and care for our residents, focusing on their well-being and dignity.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Assist residents with daily tasks such as continence management, showering, dressing, and personal grooming
  • Evaluate and ensure timely administration of prescribed medications
  • Contribute to meal preparation, service, and delivery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Manage laundry requirements for residents, maintaining their comfort and hygiene standards

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar environment
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Willingness to undertake regular health assessments, including drug and alcohol testing
