Job Description

This role involves providing essential, practical care to support older individuals in living independently at home, directly enhancing their quality of life.

You will travel to clients' residences using your own vehicle, for which you will receive compensation for mileage and paid travel time.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as aiding with showering and dressing
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Transporting clients to appointments and accompanying them on shopping trips
  • Supporting medication management
Required Skills and Qualifications

- You possess patience, compassion, and a solutions-focused approach.

- Previous experience in aged or community care is beneficial, or you may be starting your career in this field.

- You must hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).

- Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; if not, we can provide support to obtain this qualification.

- You are flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of home care clients.
