Senior Electrical Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Expert to lead front-end substation and transmission line design.

  • Deliver robust technical solutions for substation and transmission line projects (up to 500kV)
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements
  • Drive innovation and process improvement across design methods and technical reviews
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure engineering excellence
  • Support project scoping, cost estimating, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead on safety, sustainability, and constructability reviews throughout project lifecycles
  • Help mitigate technical risk by resolving complex engineering challenges early in design

We're looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and at least three years of experience in utilities or HV design (up to 500kV). Strong substation and primary electrical engineering skills are essential. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape is also required.

Able to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.
