We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Associate Design Engineer to provide critical electrical engineering input to projects across various sectors.

About the Opportunity

As a key member of our Transmission & Electrification team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of energy transition in Australia and globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of HV (Secondary) design for transmission & distribution projects.
  • Develop and review technical documentation, including design reports, equipment specifications, cable schedules, and interface documents.
  • Utilize working knowledge of primary substation elements, transmission lines, underground cables, and power system earthing design.
  • Support high-voltage scope for Owner's Engineer and Technical Due Diligence projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Typically 8-14+ years' post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Existing RPEQ/RPEV or ability to attain it is required.
  • Experience in EHV and HV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design in substations, cable systems, transmission & distribution utilities, or renewable energy projects.
