  • Design complex electrical systems for industrial machinery.
  • Participate in project FAT / SAT activities.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical design and drawing standards.
  • Execute Work Packages within defined Project Milestones.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to develop best practice standards for electrical design, ECAD implementation, and machine safety.
  • Provide timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Create comprehensive electrical systems documentation, including schematics and test plans.
  • Work closely with mechanical design teams throughout the design cycle.
  • Contribute to Codesys PLC and safety PLC development for selected projects.

The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in electrical systems, with a strong focus on innovative design and problem-solving. A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering is required. Registered professional engineer accreditation is an advantage. 5-10 years of experience in a similar role is expected.

  • Proficiency in EPLAN software tools, including EPLAN Electric P8, Cogineer, and ProPanel.
  • Expertise in electrical component selection, cabinet design, 3-phase power distribution, and EMC testing.
  • Experience with PLC, servo motor, and controls hardware setup and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of machine safety design, risk assessment, and safety PLC programming.
  • Nice-to-haves include functional safety training and certification, experience in Codesys PLC programming, and familiarity with European CE Directives / Regulations.
