Electrical Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical engineer to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering designs, reviewing project scope, and applying industry standards and Safety in Design guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing overhead lines, underground lines, and distribution substation projects with precision and accuracy
  • Reviewing project scope and making recommendations to improve project constructability costs
  • Applying industry standards & Safety in Design guidelines to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Managing design processes on projects of various complexity to meet delivery timeframes, quality, and cost
  • Identifying innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency
  • Mentoring up-and-coming engineers

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing distribution systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of Safety in Design practices and regulations
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification
  • RPEV accreditation advantageous
  • Proficient in AutoCAD drafting software
  • Experience using Revit and NEARA beneficial but not essential
