About the Role
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support across either the Operations & Capability or Corporate Services division, coordinating meetings, recording key discussions, decisions, and actions, acting as a business concierge and managing office operations at MRNSW head office, and providing professional first-point-of-contact service for MRNSW Volunteer Members and suppliers. You will also assist in planning and coordinating events, including major search and rescue exercises, supporting emergency response logistics and post-incident analysis, ensuring confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion, and supporting additional office and operational tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in an advanced administrative or customer service role, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment, a flexible attitude, including availability for occasional weekend or out-of-hours work, and a current driver's license and Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
