The Department of Education in NSW is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team responsible for developing health, safety, and wellbeing policies, programs, and resources. As a Strategic Health and Wellbeing Programs Manager, you will be part of the Strategy, Governance, and Staff Wellbeing unit, which shapes and leads work health and safety across the department.

About the Role

This role involves leading a variety of strategic programs and initiatives, including designing, delivering, and implementing key strategies and projects to improve staff health and wellbeing. You will work closely with the People and Culture team to develop and implement a state-wide staff wellbeing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

You will be responsible for leading a team that delivers innovative health, safety, and wellbeing programs and services to support all staff working in NSW Education. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
