Senior Director, Engineering Program Management Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Engineering Program Management to lead our Engineering Program Management Office (PMO) in Sydney or San Diego. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for establishing and leading this critical capability for our product delivery across our hardware and software engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers and technical program managers who support the delivery of ResMed's engineering products and services.
- Bring enterprise-wide leadership and impact necessary to transform and lead programs aligned to the Product strategy.
- Define and implement the PMO vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with the engineering and Product goals.
- Establish and maintain best practices, standards, methodologies, and tools for program management and planning activities across the engineering organization.
- Work with world-class engineering teams to build solutions while breaking down technical and cross-functional barriers.
- Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and coordination among the engineering teams and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and report on the progress, status, risks, and issues of the engineering programs and projects, and provide timely escalation and resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the PMO processes, data, and technology solutions to enable faster, better, and more efficient delivery.
- Proven experience in leading engineering program management teams and delivering complex software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, project management tools, data analysis, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs with high impact and visibility.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams across various domains and geographies.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and engineering best practices.
