Job Title: Engineering Coach

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Coach to join our team at Greenstone Financial Services. As an Engineering Coach, you will play a key role in coaching and mentoring colleagues, including Engineering Leads and Quality Engineers, to help them overcome challenges and implement Modern Engineering practices and enabling technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor colleagues to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Product Coaches and Ways of Working Coaches to implement Modern Engineering practices.
  • Work with DevOps practitioners and Engineering colleagues to resolve technical challenges.
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to improve team performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in coaching and mentoring engineers and quality individual contributors.
  • Solid experience with programming languages, particularly .net and/or .net core.
  • 5+ years' experience in delivering products through the Product Lifecycle.
  • Technical expertise in cloud native architecture, distributed systems, CI/CD, test automation, and other modern engineering practices.
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring new leaders and individual contributors.
  • Demonstrated experience with Extreme Programming (XP) and XP framework.
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead through servant leadership.

Desirable:

  • Product expertise, including working in a Product environment within a broader transformation.
  • Knowledge of various Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Certifications.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management tools like Jira.
  • Experience guiding teams through conflict resolution and change.
