Commercial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Norwest Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Finance, Marketing, and Data team members in managing commercial agreements with suppliers and helping members maximize their benefits from the agreements.
The ideal candidate will have a background in finance with exposure to procurement, commercial deals, and agreements for buying groups. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, members, and the Board of Directors, as well as managing the group's financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, members, and the Board of Directors
- Managing the group's financial reporting requirements, including P&L, budgets, and cash flow
- Overseeing the team's membership communications, marketing, and events activities
- Looking out for value-add opportunities for members and helping them take advantage of the economies of scale of the buying group
- Facilitating and coordinating supplier negotiation meetings
Requirements:
- Demonstrated commercial or procurement experience
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Engaging leadership skills
