Senior Mechanical Engineer Dams Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a dam operations and equipment integration role. This is a challenging and rewarding position that will allow you to utilize your mechanical design skills and experience in the dam industry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering design services for dam operations and equipment integration. This will include conducting feasibility studies, designing and constructing dams, and managing assets. The engineer will also be involved in inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.

  • Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
  • Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
  • Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential).

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
