Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Dams team in Melbourne, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
  • Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
  • Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • You must be positive, proactive, and able to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You should enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
