About the Role

Are you a dedicated and passionate educator seeking a rewarding opportunity in Early Childhood education? We have an exciting Assistant Educator role available at our Mount Sheridan Early Education Centre in Bentley Park, Cairns.

This is a fantastic chance to join a team of experienced professionals who are committed to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. As an Assistant Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

About You
  • You will hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven experience as an Educator in an Early Childhood setting, working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
