Senior Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our sales team, you will provide technical product advice and support to internal and external customers, working closely with sales leaders and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical product advice and support to customers, including product specifications, project management, and component selection.
- Assist sales teams with execution of sales plans, including preparation of product specifications and project management.
- Work closely with sales leaders and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales pipelines through Sales Force and provide technical support to customers on commissioning, product queries, and technical issues.
- Conduct product training for internal and external sales teams, customers, and partners.
- Provide engineering advice to consultants, mechanical contractors, and system integrators.
- Work with marketing to create necessary tools and literature for the Pacific market.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with factory or suppliers on outstanding issues, requirements, or product launches.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or refrigeration trade qualifications.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- High-level knowledge of product application in cooling systems, including testing, measurement equipment, and electrical and mechanical codes.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and other database systems.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Ability to work with international teams in a global matrix organization.
