WeLink Recruitment is representing an established Joinery Organisation that partners with several Tier 1 & 2 builders delivering high-end projects in the Western Sydney area.

The Organisation has fostered a close-knit family culture which was pivotal to their success in securing a strong pipeline of work.

THE ROLE:

Due to newly won projects and the growth of the business, we are seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis located near Western Sydney.

The newly created opportunity will allow the Project Manager to have oversight on a portfolio of joinery projects for builders such as Lendlease, Richard Crookes Constructions, Parkview Constructions, Kane Constructions etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report to Construction Manager
  • Management of projects from inception through to completion
  • Financial management of projects including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
  • Represent the company as the point of contact to ensure project scope, schedules, and costs are maintained
  • Provide advice and report on the management and progress of projects
  • Procurement of subcontractors and materials
  • Lead and coach project team members and succession planning
  • Health, safety, and quality management

YOU:

  • Relevant tertiary education/qualification in Joinery OR Project Management
  • Strong track record in a similar role working with a reputable Tier 1 OR 2 Joinery Organisation as a Project Manager (MUST HAVE)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Competent with MS Projects and Microsoft Suite packages

SALARY: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience
