Event Coordinator Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Event Coordinator to join our team.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

  • Oversee event operations, ensuring customer service standards are maintained and effective leadership is provided to the event team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan events.
  • Liaise with clients regarding event details.
  • Maintain compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol policies at all catered functions.
  • Deliver pre-event briefings to team members.
  • Manage employee relations.
  • Ensure team members work safely and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience in a large banqueting or food and beverage environment.
  • Experience coordinating exhibition/tradeshow-style catering.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, lead, and provide direction to a large team of 100+.
  • A current RMLV Certificate and Approved Manager Licence (or the ability to obtain them quickly), along with experience managing RSA compliance in a large venue.
