About the Role

We are seeking skilled Civil Engineering Graduates to join our team at Shadforth Civil Contractors.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Overview

This role will involve working with our experienced leaders across a variety of projects including infrastructure, subdivisions, community projects, and roadworks. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost management, production costs, coordinating materials supplied, quality assurance documentation, and contract administration.

You will be responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as well as coordinating with suppliers and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reports.
  • Production Costs: Monitor and control production costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Materials Coordination: Source and procure materials, coordinate delivery, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts, negotiate with clients and suppliers, and resolve disputes.
About You
  • Degree in Engineering (Majoring in Civil): A degree in engineering, majoring in civil, is required for this role.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Eligibility to Work in Australia: Must be eligible to work in Australia and hold a current driver's license.
