Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Engineer to join our team in Brisbane and the greater QLD region. As a key member of our infrastructure project team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of road construction works and major infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in civil roads infrastructure construction with any Australian State Government Road Authority, preferably the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland. You will be responsible for assisting with contract administration, managing project budgets, and contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions;
  • Maintain project quality standards, working closely with clients and stakeholders;
  • Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation;
  • Foster a safe and inclusive work environment, adhering to legislative requirements and company policies;

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification, recognized by the Institution of Engineers Australia;
  • RPEQ Registration is highly desirable;
  • At least 5 years of experience in civil roads infrastructure construction, preferably with the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland;
  • Strong knowledge of AS2124 General Conditions of Contract and Transport and Main Roads' policies and standards;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
