We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. The successful candidate will be working on various road upgrade programs across Brisbane and Greater QLD, managing contracts and leading teams to deliver projects within specified quality standards and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract administration, surveillance, and compliance with industry standards;
  • Contribute to quality management procedures, safety protocols, and environmental initiatives;
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including external service authorities and community groups;
  • Coordinate technical aspects of projects, monitoring progress and adopting appropriate standards;
  • Prepare reports and briefing notes on project status, expenditure, and other key issues.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration, road and transport infrastructure construction, and earthworks, drainage, electrical, ITS, landscape and urban design;
  • Sound consultation, conflict avoidance, and group facilitation skills;
  • Expertise in managing projects to TMR policies, standards, and specifications;
  • Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification, accepted by Institution of Engineers Australia;
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
