About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Change Management Specialist to join our team at the Australian Public Service Commission. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to business areas on change management strategies and initiatives.
  • Design and deliver tailored change management approaches to ensure impacted stakeholders are aware, ready, and supported to adopt change.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate with senior executives and project managers on change management initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and embedding of the Enterprise Change Management Framework.
  • Manage a small team, balancing resources and competing priorities in a pressured environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working on a change project, including developing and executing communication, training, and/or change management plans.
  • Highly developed communication skills to inform and positively influence decision-making.
  • The ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems tailored to the stakeholder context and adapt the course of action to meet emerging strategic and operational requirements.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop and nurture stakeholder relationships and networks.
  • Experience managing staff and effectively prioritizing resources to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated commitment to championing people-centered design and delivery.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in a change management role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in human sciences or similar fields.
Security Clearance

This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

Pre-employment Check

Your suitability for employment will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process includes a requirement to undergo and satisfy a National Police Check, referee checks, character clearance, and where required a pre-employment medical assessment, specified mandatory qualification(s) validation, and a probation period of 6 months.
