Austin Health is a world-renowned provider of tertiary health services, health professional education, and research across three campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly experienced Transition and Projects Coordinator to join our North Eastern Public Health Unit. This role will coordinate and facilitate NEPHU transition activities and the program of priority projects, working collaboratively with teams across NEPHU to deliver public health establishment, transition, and quality improvement activity that supports NEPHU development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in public health, project management, business management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating concurrent establishment and transition initiatives, including coordinating to deliver change outcomes involving external stakeholders.
  • Strong project or program management experience and/or experience coordinating a program of change or quality improvement activity.
  • Highly developed written communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills and proficiency in managing workload, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing a number of concurrent tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to build networks and work effectively with groups of professionals across a range of roles, levels, and organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in project, governance, and change management methodologies and tools.
