A career opportunity exists for an experienced medical professional to join our public health team as a Staff Specialist. This role will involve providing clinical advice and support to the Public Health Unit, while also working collaboratively with other staff specialists and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing public health medicine expertise to inform health protection activities.
- Providing evidence-based clinical advice and support to the Public Health Unit.
- Collaborating with other staff specialists and teams to achieve shared goals.
- Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (AFPHM) or equivalent specialist recognition.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
