What You\'ll Be DoingProvide clinical management and treatment of patients in a SWSLHD facility under your care. This care will be provided within the clinical privileges granted by the CE on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
Where You\'ll Be WorkingLiverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area and district services for residents and visitors. It offers state-wide services in critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, brain injury rehabilitation, and a full range of diagnostic, emergency, maternity, paediatric, cancer, mental health, ambulatory, allied health, and medical/surgical services.
Liverpool Hospital is undergoing a major redevelopment through the LHAP project to enhance facilities and capacity for future population growth. It is a principal referral and teaching hospital of the University of NSW and Western Sydney University, with student placements from over 20 universities and colleges.
Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.

Eligibility and Qualifications- Current medical practitioner registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Health Insurance Act 1973.
- Demonstrated current clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt clinical practice in accordance with contemporary evidence-based best practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
- Demonstrated participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, including supervision of junior medical staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including participation in continuing medical education/ continuing professional development.
- Preparedness to participate in hospital, service or LHD on-call roster, elective and emergency operations and collaborative cases (including ad hoc).
- Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Current or future fellowship experience in microsurgery and oncology surgery (head & neck / lower limb / breast reconstruction, and complex cutaneous oncology surgery).
