About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Bupa Templestowe. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing person-first care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with the delivery and administration of medication, as required
  • Support residents with mobility assistance, in accordance with their care plans
  • Maintain accurate health care documentation, as needed
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and care
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies, ensuring a safe environment for all
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous aged care experience is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team, taking direction as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
