Job Description

As a Bar Supervisor at Sofitel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that every moment is memorable and enjoyable. Your role will involve leading a team of Ambassadors, providing guidance and support to ensure that our high standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Ambassadors to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Ensure that all Ambassadors are competent in all service procedures and that they are able to provide personalized service to our guests.
  • Work closely with the Manager to ensure that all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and checklists are followed.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists to advise and make recommendations to guests.
  • Use every opportunity to upsell and maximize sales.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Sofitel Brand Standards.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience within a similar supervisory role.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
  • Previous Cocktail/Bar experience, with good wine knowledge, mixology and barista expertise.
  • A friendly, guest-focused attitude with passion for providing exceptional and memorable moments.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Must hold your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
