Job Role Overview

Desktop Support Specialist Position

This key role entails providing technical support and resolution for end-user IT issues at our client site, as well as offering remote assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot various hardware and software problems.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop PC & laptop hardware issues.
  • Deliver user training sessions to ensure effective technology usage.
  • Offer general IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on-site.
  • Assist with project work and occasional after-hours/weekend support deployments.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will require a qualification in an IT-related discipline or up to one year of experience supporting IT technologies. A basic understanding of networking principles is also essential, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

A driver's license is necessary for this position due to site visits, and excellent time management skills are also crucial.
