As a Design Manager you will play a key role in the development of retail stores. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual with significant experience in multi-project construction management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive project management for creative solutions across all retail store formats, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed architectural briefs and adopt a collaborative design approach, including developing practical small-scope solutions for retail and maintenance needs.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys, providing expert architectural and construction feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage relationships with all external consultants and contractors, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Apply strong financial acumen, including quantity surveying, budget forecasting, value engineering, and negotiating project tenders.
  • Orchestrate all necessary permitting, engineering, and external services for building and occupancy, ensuring strict compliance with lease agreements.
  • Implement robust quality assurance through factory and site visits, meticulous shop drawing review, and leading the defect rectification process post-completion.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to and passion for retail design environment, customer service, and teams, coupled with a solid understanding of the retail, design, and construction industries.
  • Possess significant experience in multi-project construction management within the retail, hospitality, or similar sectors.
  • Excellent written and clear communication skills, with a proactive approach to building lasting partnerships with local General Contractors.
  • Be highly autonomous, proactive, and efficient, demonstrating a strong drive for excellence and the capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
