Store Design Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced design professional to lead our store design team in Melbourne.
About The Role- Develop, maintain, and implement design briefs, including standards, developers' brief, and standard fixture library in line with our strategy.
- Design and manage the production of Myer-owned concepts, presentation sketches, and relevant technical documentation, specifications, details, and finishes in preparation for project approval.
- Implement cost efficiency levers with a focus on value engineering and simplifying current processes.
- Custodian of design requirements for each tier of stores (Flagship, Full Renewal, Light Renewal, and Basic Renewal).
- Manage internal/external stakeholders and consultants, shopfitters, and contractors to ensure all designs align with our strategy and project outcomes are achieved.
- 5+ years of retail design experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of concept designers.
- Strong knowledge of retail/product design, fixture design, lighting, finishes, and signage.
- Excellent understanding of construction means and methods, including relevant regulations, codes, and legislation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe CS6 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
