About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Ngala Community Services. In this ongoing full-time role, you will be instrumental in shaping the early educational experiences of young learners, working closely with our Early Childhood Teacher to nurture children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Relevant experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Valid WA Working with Children's Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
