Family Violence Therapeutic Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and values-driven Family Violence Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team in supporting families affected by family violence.

The TRAK Forward Program operates in collaboration with partner agencies, operating within a child-centered, whole-of-family framework.

  • Provide senior level practice consultation, joint planning and assessment, and facilitate coordinated service responses.
  • Ensure the program is operated in accordance with service and quality standards, program targets, organisational policies, and accepted standards of practice.

This role requires relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Specialist, or related behavioural sciences at degree level, with substantial experience working with parents and children affected by family violence.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services that make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

They will also have a strong commitment to the principles of trauma-informed care and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
