Job Title: Family Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Clinician to join our team as a Family Support Specialist. This role will involve providing high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people and their families who have been referred to our service.

About the Role:

As a Family Support Specialist, you will hold a caseload and support the intake team by conducting intake assessments. You will also provide brief interventions to families referred to the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments to determine the suitability of families for our service.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people and their families.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Clinician and other team members to ensure that services are tailored to the individual needs of families.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant Bachelor level or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline. You will also require a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system and a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.
