Job Description">

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering education and engagement initiatives that raise awareness of rare and less common cancers.

  • Develop and implement effective education strategies and resources to support individuals and families affected by rare cancers.
  • Deliver engaging education and training sessions for patients, carers, health professionals, organisations, and community groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, patient advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages for different cultural contexts and accessibility needs.
  • Experience working with priority populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, rural and remote communities, and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for people living with rare and less common cancers.
