**The Opportunity**
We are seeking **passionate and proactive Education Officers** to join our team in **Wollongong**. With both **full-time and part-time roles available**, this position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about **environmental education and community engagement**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver **engaging waste education programs** to residents, schools, and local communities
- Build **strong relationships** with community groups and stakeholders
- Support and promote initiatives like the **Food Organic Garden Organics (FOGO) program**:

- Conduct **bin audits** and educate residents on correct usage
- Coordinate and deliver **awareness campaigns** through social media and other platforms
- Represent REMONDIS at **community events**, schools, universities, and council meetings
- Assist in **planning and delivering waste education activities** in collaboration with local councils

**What You Will Bring**

- Genuine **interest in sustainability, recycling, and environmental issues**:

- **Strong communication skills**, both in person and over the phone
- **Confident, engaging, and proactive** approach
- Ability to ask **meaningful questions**, actively listen, and deliver clear advice
- **Resilience, creativity**, and a passion for making a difference in the community

**Additional Information**
- **Monday to Friday**, 8:00am start
- **Office-based** role with regular **community visits**:

- **Vehicle available** on-site for work-related travel
- Involves **coordination with local councils**
