Cancer Awareness Educator

The position of Education and Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in extending the impact of our Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Research, develop, and implement education and engagement strategies to raise awareness of rare and less common cancers.
- Identify key messages and communication channels to reach and engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Tailor health promotion strategies to meet the needs of priority populations.
- Deliver and facilitate engaging education and training sessions for patients, carers, health professionals, organisations, and community groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, patient advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing effective education strategies and resources, confident in delivering engaging sessions to diverse audiences, and have strong communication skills. Experience working with priority populations will be highly regarded.
