Job Title

Work with men who perpetrate family and domestic violence to help them change their behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage men in Men's Behaviour Change programs through outreach, phone, and online support.
  • Provide individual support and referral pathways for men addressing mental health and substance use issues.
  • Co-facilitate Men's Behaviour Change and Protective Behaviours groups.
  • Support young people through group programs at local youth facilities.
  • Participate in community activities such as barbecues and Men's Bush Trips.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to safety planning.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Previous experience in family domestic violence services or willingness to be trained in Men's Behaviour Change.
  • Experience working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and understanding of culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver personal and relationship education programs for children.
