We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of FDV Coordinator in our multidisciplinary team.
Job Description:As an FDV Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting families and individuals affected by family and domestic violence. Your responsibilities will include performing daily triage processes for FDV incident reports, working collaboratively with other Out of Hours Coordinators, and participating in joint triage sessions with Police and DCP. You will deliver responses remotely via phone, email, and referral submissions, and provide risk assessment, safety planning, and appropriate responses for those affected by FDV.
This is a casual position, requiring a commitment to work Saturdays and Sundays. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality services and achieving improved victim safety and perpetrator accountability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- You must have a Tertiary Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
- You will have experience in assessing and managing risk, supporting clients affected by FDV, ideally including individuals and families in Indigenous communities.
- You will have experience working in a team, including case management and group facilitation.
- You will have knowledge of current theories, practice, and literature in the area of FDV, including an understanding of the impact of inter-generational trauma and 'Best Practice' models of intervention for FDV.
- $70.15 per hour, inclusive of casual loading and remote allowance + 12% super.
- Weekend penalty rates.
