Personal Care Assistant

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Providing mobility assistance, including transferring between different positions and using aids where necessary.
- Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behaviour.
- Supporting residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need and assisting them during meal times.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition.
- Collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
- An adaptable and compassionate approach, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
