At Boral, we are seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of our rail infrastructure, including major capital upgrades and annual maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and govern the annual rail upgrade and maintenance program.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operational managers and teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors, manage contracts, and administer invoicing processes.
  • Prepare Request for Quotation documents, source quotations, review prices, and award contracts.
  • Coordinate annual detailed inspections and patrol inspections by third-party providers, reviewing resulting reports.
  • Manage minor and major maintenance works, including scope and specification documentation, cost estimates, and capital expenditure requests.
  • Submit proposals for capital funding as part of the capital budgeting process.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in rail freight operations, contractor management, and project execution. If you have experience dealing with the Rail Regulator, basic rail design standards, and proficiency with MS Office, we encourage you to apply.
